The Underground Artist party was an idea that grew from my relationships with multiple unsigned musicians in my hometown of Philadelphia. The underground music community is small, and many of these artist grew up together and have great relationships and often perform together. For this project, I wanted to create a direct mailer that was also an invitation to a secret listening party that was invitation only. The mailer has no real details about the actual party, except for the date. Inside there is a QR code that the recipient would scan to receive the details of the party. There are also pictures and brief biographies of the main artists so the recipient can look the artist up as well.
